2009 SMTA Anaheim Academy Program Announced

Anaheim, CA � The SMTA is pleased to announce the 2009 SMTA Anaheim Academy program. SMTA Anaheim will be held February 10-11, 2009 at the Anaheim Convention Center in conjunction with Electronics West. This year's program will feature six half-day Courses led by leading instructors in the industry.

The courses featured at the Academy are Creating a RoHS and REACH Compliance System, IC Packaging Technology Evolution and Future Directions, Pb-free Reflow and Wave Soldering Guidelines, Design for Manufacturing, Lead-Free and Medical Applications, and Understanding Failure and Root Cause Analysis in Electronics. Rob Rowland, RadiSys Corporation; Joseph Fjelstad, Verdant Electronics; Dale Lee, Plexus Corporation; and Craig Hillman, Ph.D., DfR Solutions, make up the list of all-star instructors who will be leading the courses in Anaheim this year.
