vCheck was developed to provide visibility, traceability, and defect data collection and analysis tools to electronic manufacturers for their assembly process from bare board serialization to final system assembly. It includes alarms and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) trigger points to help continuously reduce the Defect Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) rate in the manufacturing process, and is designed to increase profitability and customer satisfaction by making all aspects of quality testing and inspection visible to any decision maker in real-time.
vCheck fully integrates into users' manufacturing and test processes, collecting data from test and repair stations including visual inspection stations, AOI, AXI, ATE, and functional test equipment. All collected information is captured in one centralized comprehensive database. Using the consolidated data, vCheck enables easy pinpointing of problems as well as automatic suggestion of solutions from its knowledge base, providing significant reductions in the time it takes to analyze problems and locate solutions. In addition, vCheck provides capability for real-time WIP tracking at user selected manufacturing locations. As a result, vCheck provides real-time visibility to quality and WIP information for immediate review and action, if necessary.
Valor will feature the vCheck at APEX in booth 1373, and will have USR, an EMS provider, present in the booth to discuss the success they have experienced with vCheck. Valor also will showcase a new video technology never seen before in the US 3DTV at the show.
