KYZEN, a global leader in electronics manufacturing cleaning solutions, has been named the 2015 winner of the industry’s coveted Global SMT Technology Award for Cleaning Materials. The event marks the ninth KYZEN Global SMT Award and the fourth global industry award for AQUANOX® A4708 pH Neutral Electronic Assembly Cleaning Chemistry. “I don’t know that any chemistry in this class has been recognized by industry leaders this many times, but our customers know that AQUANOX® A4708 reliably meets high-precision performance requirements, as does our environmentally friendly cleaning technologies,” said Tom Forsythe, Executive Vice President at KYZEN.
The Global Technology Award was presented during a Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 ceremony at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich, Germany during productronica. This marks KYZEN’s fourth award for A4708.
AQUANOX® A4708 rapidly cleans under densely populated, low-gap PCB assemblies and is effective on all flux types, including no-clean and water soluble residues. A4708 is specifically formulated for enhanced metal compatibility and is safe for delicate gold and aluminum bonding pads. The specialized pH chemistry provides bright solder joints, even after multiple wash exposures.
