Mar 25, 2008 Kyzen was founded in 1990 to develop innovative and environmentally safe cleaning products. These products were designed to replace ozone-depleting chemicals used to clean electronics assemblies, silicon wafers, optical lenses and metal parts. Much of Kyzen�s technology, then and now, is derived from renewable resources or has been selected for their more favorable performance and environmental properties.
Over the past 18 years, Kyzen innovations have spanned a broad spectrum. Years ago the company introduced not only the best performing semi-aqueous technology for electronics, but quickly made it obsolete with the introduction of the world�s first modern aqueous cleaning technology for electronics. Innovations continued to follow with its award-winning materials for electronics and semiconductor packaging, along with ground-breaking, often patented technology for optics as well as both industrial and aerospace metal cleaning. With the company name derived from the Japanese word for continuous improvement �kaisan,� this concept of continuous improvement has driven the growth of its research group and resulted in dozens of new products being developed in the past few years with more to come in the future.
