Kyzen’s Application Lab staff conducts dozens of customer, solder paste, and research and development evaluations in Nashville on a weekly basis. After acquiring the Aqueous Tech batch washer in 2005, the Kyzen staff quickly put the machine to work running various Kyzen chemistries and putting it through its paces. Other than routine maintenance, after more than 3500 cycles the machine still runs like the first day it was received.
“The product development work we have accomplished in the past four years is astounding,” stated Applications Lab Manager Kevin Soucy. “Many new products, including several industry award-winning materials such as AQUANOX A4625 and AQUANOX A4241 began their development in this machine and accounted for more than a few of those 3500 cycles. Thorough testing leads to products that perform exceptionally well for our customers and 3500 cycles in a laboratory is extremely thorough.”
