ASC International’s Steve Arneson to Present during Productivity Workshop

 ASC International, a leading manufacturer of 3-D solder paste measurement systems, announces that Vice President Steve Arneson will present “3D Solder Paste Measurement” at the upcoming 5 Ways to Improve Productivity Workshop, on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at ACI Technologies in Philadelphia.  Mr. Arneson’s presentation will take place from 9:45-10:30 a.m. on each day of the workshop.

The presentation will focus on the importance of solder paste inspection, concluding that regardless of the SPI system used, it is crucial to monitor the process.  Due to the need for smaller components such as 0201, CSP and microBGAs, post-print inspection has become imperative.  There are more than 40 variables found within the screen printing process and SPI systems can significantly improve yield and, thus, productivity.
