ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, announces that it was ranked the 11th best midsize place to work in Dallas-Fort Worth on The Dallas Morning News' Top 100 Places to Work 2011 list.
The midsize company category consists of firms with 150 to 499 local employees. The best midsized companies, schools and nonprofits to work for in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are chosen by the employees. ACD was one of the few manufacturers selected and the only CM/EMS provider to make the list this year.

Over the past year, the company has more than tripled its capacity with the expansion of its Richardson, TX plant and hired 40 new employees. The News partners with Workplace Dynamics LLC to compile the “Top 100 Places to Work 2011” list, which is based on a 24-question survey sent to employees of each company. Approximately 1200 companies and 44,000 employees were polled for the 2011 list. Workplace Dynamics conducts Top Workplaces competitions for 24 major metropolitan newspapers, and last year it surveyed more than one million employees for its newspaper partners.
Founded in 1984, ACD’s services comprise complete board layout services, ATE engineering services, DFM/DFA capability, printed circuit fabrication, component procurement, SMT and thru-hole mixed technology assembly, box build, rework, X-Ray, flying probe and functional test, and development.
