ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, announces that CEO Scott Fillebrown will present “Software Choices to Aid PCB traceability” during the SMTA Dallas Chapter meeting, scheduled to take place Friday, May 10, 2013. The meeting will be held at the ACD facility, located at 1250 American Pkwy in Richardson, TX.
ACD uses Cogiscan’s software system for factory-wide Track, Trace & Control (TTC) solutions. The goal behind TTC is to support total traceability from the box-build to the lot, panel or board level through the use of enforced routing. Scott will discuss how ACD has implemented this tracking system as well as the benefits, challenges and cost savings accrued from the implementation.
Scott became a stockholder in January 1995. Starting at ACD after graduation, he has a total tenure with the company of more than 20 years. He graduated from the University of Texas - Dallas in 1989 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Currently, he is responsible for the company’s finance, manufacturing operations and marketing efforts. Scott’s out-of-the-box thinking towards manufacturing has led ACD to win numerous awards for revenue growth and technology advancements.
