IPC Elects New Officers and Directors

IPC- Association Connecting Electronics Industries has announced that the IPC membership has elected new officers. The following individuals were elected by the membership as IPC officers for two-year terms:

  • Stan Plzak, SMTC Manufacturing Corporation, executive vice president, was elected as IPC Chairman of the Board.
  • Peter Murphy, Parlex Corporation, president and CEO, was selected to be Chairman-Elect.
  • Leo Reynolds, Electronic Systems, Inc., president and CEO, was elected as IPC Secretary/Treasurer.

The IPC nominating committee also presented the following individuals for positions on the board of directors for two-year terms:

  • Bill Beckenbaugh, Sanmina Corporation, senior vice president.
  • Mike Buscher, Assembleon, president.
  • Jim Herring, Circuit Service, Inc., president and CEO.
  • Greg Horton, SMTEK International, president and CEO.
  • Glen Kashgegian, Printed Circuit Corporation, president and CEO.
  • Richard Kessler, RKay Associates LLC, president.
  • Gerhard Meese, Dover Technologies, executive vice president.
  • Nilesh Naik, Eagle Circuits, vice president.
  • Steve Pudles, Nu Visions Manufacturing LLC, president.

"These individuals have dedicated themselves and their talents to helping the industry," said Denny McGuirk, IPC president. "The leadership and support they bring to IPC, from each segment of the electronic interconnect supply chain, ensures that decisions made by the IPC board reflect views from across the industry."
