Multek Closes Irvine, Kumla PCB Facilities

Singapore�Multek closed its PCB manufacturing facilities in Irvine, California, and Kumla, Sweden. The company will consolidate North American operations by closing the facility in Irvine and relocating its operations in Roseville, Minnesota and Guadalajara, Mexico. Restructuring charges are expected to be less than $100 million.

In a parallel move, Multek is closing operations in Kumla, Sweden. The company's European customers will have their orders transferred Boeblingen, Germany and advanced production capabilities in Doumen, China.
