Hong Kong Membrane Circuit Technology Co. Ltd. has said it plans to combine its membrane switches with flexible PCBs, according to a report by eMedia Asia Ltd., dated February 12, 2003. This step allows for more components to be added, meaning a product incorporating this technology can be loaded with more features, said the report.
Hong Kong Membrane also recently d�buted offset-printing technology in its membrane printing. A company spokesperson cited two advantages of offset over silkscreen printing: Multiple colors can be printed, and offset printing's resolution is higher than resolution produced by silkscreen printing.
