Nichicon (Europe) has increased the top capacitance value of its WG series of surface mount electrolytic capacitors from 1000 to 1500uF (range 1 to 1500uF).
Of equal importance is the size range of this series ranging from a miniature 4mm diameter by 5.4mm long to only 10 x 10mm for the highest capacitance values.
Designed for high-density PCBs, the WG series features low impedance: 0.15ohm minimum with a maximum rated ripple of 670mA RMS.
Temperature range is a wide -55 to +105C and working voltage 6.3 to 50V.
The surface-mount capacitors can be assembled automatically using carrier tape.
