The new 20,000 sq. ft. R&D facility, supports the company’s overall goal of continuing research and development focused on machine vision, machine vision lighting, direct part mark reading, and verification. Additionally, the Center features engineering labs, a training facility and a comprehensive product demonstration room.
Jeff Timms, President of Microscan seized the opportunity to have his team showcase Microscan’s latest product innovations, with a focus on Track, Trace & Control. Last year Microscan introduced 11 new products to expand the company's impressive portfolio of solutions for electronics, pharma packaging, life sciences, military and auto industries.
"Despite of tough year of 2009 Microscan never turned off from product development, which set us up for a fantastic 2010 which undoubtedly will be very good for us" - said president Jeff Timms. He also described company strategy for future, including acquisition projects and distribution channels development.
Microscan, which specialized in Track, Trace and Control solutions, serves broad range of industries with special focus on the needs of three key branches: Electronics, Automotive, and Life Sciences. The company holds over 90 technology patents in the U.S, and more than 30 technology patents pending.
