Jan 30, 2001 Samsung Techwin (Sungnam City, Korea) and SMT-Aliant (Birmingham, AL) are pleased to announce a breakthrough agreement that names SMT-Aliant, Inc. as the distrubutor for the United States and Canada of Samsung Techwin's complete line of material handling equipment for printed circuit board assembly. This will enable SMT-Aliant to provide the absolute highest quality product, the longest warranty in the industry, and with quick turn-around times in the high demand electronics assembly sector.
The full line of equipment will include Board Loaders/Unloaders, Turn Units, Inverters, Buffers, Manual Workstations, Workstation Conveyors, and other types of Edge Handling Equipment. In addition, we also provide the "Wide Trac" flat belt conveyors for gentle product handling or high temperature applications where critical alignment of the edges of the circuit board is not required and "Heavy Duty" OEM compatible steel frame conveyors. Standard configurations will be the target market. However, custom configurations will be available for our customer's specific needs and requirements.
