MYDATA zeroes in on Productronica 2007

Nov 05, 2007

Known for innovation, MYDATA automation AB will demonstrate how it can help high-mix SMT manufacturers achieve more, in even less time than ever, at Productronica 2007 in Munich on November 13-16, 2007.

With much greater freedom of PCB design, accuracy of component placement and production line flexibility, people who visit our booth will see how our machines can really add to their companys bottom line profitability, says MYDATA Product Manager Gran Persson. Products on display for demonstrations will include:

  • New MYDATA Agilis Stick Magazine (ASM). As the latest evolution of the award-winning MYDATA Agilis design, the revolutionary ASM makes vibratory stick feeder problems history and greatly reduces time needed for set-ups and changeovers. By increasing both the variety and quantity of components placed throughout the day, the ASM greatly boosts throughput on every production run.

  • MYDATA MY500. With complete off-line preparation, the second generation of the MY500 can go from one production run to another in no time at all. The MY500 gives PCB designers more freedom to explore more PCB layouts than ever before with jet printing technology that provides more precise control over solder paste deposits. This allows larger components to be placed much closer to smaller ones, so the surface space can be maximized on every PCB.

  • MYDATA Synergy Line. With two MY12 machines and one MY500 operating in one line, visitors will witness how MYDATA can eliminate lead times between production runs without any operator involvement.

Were always looking for new ways to translate production efficiency into greater profit potential for our customers, adds MYDATA CEO Bengt Broman. Saving time and eliminating production bottlenecks goes a long way to achieving that goal. Everything well highlight at Productronica will provide proof of our latest innovations at work.

MYDATA automation designs, manufactures and markets SMT process equipment for the electronics industry. Its mission is to be always innovating in order to satisfy the electronic industrys need for surface mount technology and services that meet the highest demands in terms of productivity and quality.

Based on a modular hardware and software design, MYDATA equipment has been developed for flexibility and high-yield production over time. By focusing on faster changeovers and setups, and on achieving the lowest possible cost per mounted component, MYDATA has built a strong customer base and long-term relationships with customers in countries throughout the world.

Sweden-based MYDATA has a worldwide sales and customer support network with subsidiaries in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Japan, China and Singapore.
