MYPlan - optimizes productivity according to your goals.

MYDATA has released MYPlan version 4.1, which includes a new Job Sequence Optimizer. The powerful optimization algorithm will calculate the best production sequence and changeover strategy, for any mix of products and batch sizes. The software eliminates unnecessary feeder movements while maintaining highest possible uptime and throughput, and in that way saves both time and resources.

"This announcement is yet another example of MYDATA's lead in SW functionality", says Robert Göthner, Sr Vice President and General Manager. "With the latest MYPlan release, our customers can rest assured that their equipment is utilized to its full potential"

The new module will automatically calculate an optimized job sequence, using an advanced optimization algorithm that takes both machine speed and feeder loading effort into account. Jobs that are suitable to run together based on part commonality, will be placed in family kits. Other jobs will be run separately, with different changeover strategies depending on batch size and priority. Prototypes, large batches, variants of similar products, it doesn't matter. MYPlan 4.1 will find the fastest way to get the job done, with a minimum of manpower!

MYPlan 4.1 is fully integrated with the material handling system MYLabel, and the automated storage solution SMD Tower. As a result, machine operators are guided through the entire setup process, supported by a fully automatic component delivery system. Furthermore, the production planner will have full visibility of material status and availability, ensuring that every work order can be completed without risk of shortages.

"MYPlan's Job Sequence Optimizer will make the production planner's every day life easier" says Mattias Jonsson, Product Manager. "Regardless of batch size, MYPlan's Job Sequence Optimizer will suggest the optimal way to execute the pending work orders. And if the proposed schedule needs to be altered for some reason, it's just a mouse-click away. The user is always in the driver's seat"
