Fox Electronics, America's leading supplier of frequency control products, has announced the appointment of Jimmy Steiner to the newly formed post of Director of European, Middle East and African Sales. Steiner, a sales and marketing veteran of international high technology markets for nearly two decades, will direct Fox's aggressive growth strategies and programs for the EMEA areas, with an emphasis on enhancing customer relationships and facilitating strategic design-ins.
Steiner will assume sales responsibilities for the full range of Fox's frequency control products, including crystals, oscillators, OCXOs, TCXOs and VCXOs, as well as the company's recently introduced rfXOs and its JITO line of third generation programmable oscillators for each of the EMEA regions. He will work out of Fox's European sales facility in Munich, Germany.
In announcing Steiner's appointment, E.L. Before joining Fox, Steiner served as senior sales executive for central Europe for leading US module manufacturer Viking. Prior to that, he was the senior sales and marketing executive for the System LSI Business Division of Samsung Semiconductor Europe GmbH, and sales manager for key accounts at Rohm GmbH. In addition to his sales and marketing management positions, Steiner has served as OEM field sales engineer for both SGS Thomson and RCA Munich. He has also served as distribution sales engineer for Data Modul and Panel.
A native of Linz, Austria, Steiner currently resides in Munich, Germany. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences, Munich.
