Apr 19, 2001 JNJ Industries, Inc., a leading supplier of electronics screen printing accessories, cleaning chemistries, ultrasonic cleaning equipment, and specialized tooling products, has announced a major expansion and move to a new 83,000 square foot facility in nearby Franklin, Massachusetts. The new facility will be JNJ's new World Headquarters, consolidating both of JNJ's current manufacturing and administrative facilities under one roof.
According to Robert Enterkin, Director of Sales and Marketing, "This planned expansion will help us accommodate our rapid growth, and help us provide better service to our customers through increased manufacturing, inventory, and administrative space. The increased space available for raw materials and finished goods will enable us to shorten our lead times, getting product into the hands of our customers even more quickly" he stated.
The new facility boasts a 2000 ft.2 demonstration and training room, as well as more than 10,000 ft.2 of office/administrative space. According to JNJ Industries' President, Jack Volpe, "The increased manufacturing space and capability will allow JNJ to build additional manufacturing lines for our growing roll and wipe business. It will also allow the company room to install additional CNC equipment for the machine shop and fabrication part of our business, which produces squeegee blades and holders, tooling plate assemblies, ultrasonic machines, and more. Additionally, the facility offers the potential of a 30,000 square foot additional expansion, which we plan to take advantage of during the first half of 2001" he added.
