JNJ Industries, Inc. announces that its line of metal squeegee blades with the proprietary Electrolized plating are now available in lengths up to 30 inches, increased from the original 24 inches maximum length. The length of the blades has been increased to meet the needs of newer large-format printers with their expanded print areas from manufacturers including Speedline, Ekra, Panasonic, Surface Mount Techniques, and others used for printing telecom boards, back-planes, and oversized PCBs.
JNJ's OEM metal blades provide a direct retrofit to the manufacturer's conventional screw mounted or clamped flat metal blades. JNJ's non-porous Electrolized coating cleans up easy and aids in paste release. For better than OEM performance, all JNJ metal blades are coated with a proprietary Electrolized plating finish. This patented process provides a hardness rating of Rockwell C70 and is very slippery and ductile so that it won't chip, flake or crack the way that other forms of plating can. The blades also feature a proprietary print edge ball radius that ensures a uniform material deposit, and extends stencil life by reducing wear and minimizing the potential for scratching. This radius runs off both sides of the blade, so it doesn't matter how the blade is loaded into the squeegee holder. JNJ blades meet or exceed all OEM specifications.
