Valtronic, contract manufacturer of miniaturized electronic products for trusted medical device partners, announces that it is looking to hire two new engineers in Switzerland as well as a customer service representative in the United States as part of its long-term growth strategy plan.
Customer Service Representative & Order Entry: Based in Solon, Ohio and part of the Valtronic, the customer service representative position is responsible for processing orders for product received by mail, telephone, fax or e-mail from customers or company employees. This person will interact with customers and provide information in response to inquiries about accounts, products, and services. Additionally, the representative will take care of and settle customer complaints, oversee special orders, take returns via phone or mail, receive and process orders, and provide information concerning pricing, changes in service, discontinuance, and shipping. The person hired to fill this position also will closely interact with materials and operations and attend daily production meeting.
Engineer Conception & Development – Mechanical: Based in Les Charbonnières, Switzerland, and part of the Valtronic Technologies (Suisse) SA team, this person will be responsible for leading a team that is in charge of developing a new automated machine feasibility study phase before the start of production. Additionally, the engineer will plan, organize and ensure the realization and completion of engineering projects entrusted to him/her in the context of his/her specific knowledge, and will monitor the progress of conception to operation by overseeing costs, quality and deadlines. To apply, candidates must have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or microtechnology (or equivalent), five+ years of experience in developing complex machines, experience in developing fluidic systems, experience in complex machine architecture and speak both French and English fluidly.
