Juki's 2000 Series Placement Machines Increase Throughput of Existing 700 Series Lines.
Juki Automation Systems Inc. announces increased productivity for Juki 700 Series owners with its new 2000 Series automated assembly machines. By combining a KE-2030 with a KE-760 or a KE-2020 with a KE-750, 700 Series owners can benefit from higher throughput and faster placement rates that will position them to take on a greater variety of jobs.
The fully compatible 2000 Series offers advanced modular printed circuit board assembly machines for high volume and specialized component placement and may be used as an addition to existing 700 Series machines. The 700 Series is one of Juki's original modular lines, which includes high-speed, flexible chip shooters and fine-pitch assembly machines.
"With series' compatibility, production engineers are able to enhance their printed circuit board production process, while utilizing machines they may already have," said Gary Burroughs, President of Juki Automation Systems. "This option gives engineers the ability to design custom lines that are time and cost efficient."
All standard features and options are compatible within the two lines, including feeders, trolleys and conveyors. Juki's proprietary feeder banks offer standard, easy to use set-up amongst all Juki placement machines, providing the fastest change over in the industry at less than 30 seconds. Both the 2000 Series and the 700 Series may be linked with Juki's windows-based host line computer (HLC) system for programmable monitoring and control.
Equipped with standard features such as BGA All-Ball Recognition that counts and measures the integrity of each ball, dual drive X-Y system for accuracy and repeatability and an advanced vision recognition systems that identifies each component, both the 2000 and 700 Series provide the fastest, most flexible placement machines per placement.
Juki Automation Systems, Inc., the exclusive partner of Tokyo-based Juki Corporation, is a leading supplier of SMT automated assembly equipment to the printed circuit board assembly market. Since1987, Juki has shipped more than 10,000 SMT systems, making it the world's third-largest supplier of SMT assembly equipment.
