Since the opening of a new establishment in Tunis in 2008, Prodelectronic is active as an official representative of JUKI in North Africa. Both Prodelectronic of France and Prodelectronic of North Africa were organized in March in the capital of Tunisia at a seminar in which traceability, quality assurance and MSD (Moisture Sensitive Devices) were the main topics.
A total of 55 participants registered for the seminar, which took place in March at the Hotel Acropol in Tunis. The seminar consisted of theoretical sessions as well as practical work for all of the participants. Organized by Prodelectronic France, the seminar was presented with cooperation between Prodelectronic, Juki Automation Systems, Totech and PDR.
At the seminar, Juki introduced the newest manufacturing technologies, including tools for quality assurance, such as offset placement after screen printing, the Flex Calibration System, component traceability and management of MSDs. Topics such as the IPC-J-STD-033b norm and its impact on the treatment and storage of MSDs, as well as the rework solution offered by PDR in relation to lead-free technology also were discussed.
