Juki to Hold Training Courses Throughout September/October

Sep 01, 2009

MORRISVILLE, NC - September 2009 - Juki Corporation, a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and systems, announces that Juki Americas is holding two upcoming training courses. The first course will focus on KE-2050/60/70/80/FX1/FX3 Series Programming and Operations, and is scheduled to take place September 29-October 2, 2009 at Juki’s North Carolina office in Morrisville, NC. Juki also will hold a course specializing in KE2070/80-Series Service and Calibration, which is scheduled to take place October 27-30, 2009, also at Juki’s North Carolina office in Morrisville, NC.

The courses are designed to provide operators with operation, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting skills. It includes classroom, lecture and hands-on training on the systems. For the most part, the content is identical to the training provided onsite when a machine is first installed.

The training courses are for personnel responsible for the daily setup, operations, and programming of the machines. New operators who need a little extra training are the main intended audience. Prerequisites for the courses include knowledge of basic SMT concepts and components, and familiarity with Microsoft® Windows.

There is no charge for attendance at any regularly scheduled training course at Juki facilities with the purchase of any machine purchased from Juki. Also included with the purchase of the machine are free machine software upgrades for the life of machine, and free 24-hour phone support.

For more information about the training courses or to register online, visit http://www.jukiamericas.com. All Juki SMT assembly machines come standard with a three-year full parts warranty and a one-year labor warranty.

Juki Corporation’s experience as the market leader in industrial sewing machines was the stepping-stone for the entry into the printed circuit board assembly market in 1987. Since then, Juki has delivered more than 21,000 automated assembly systems worldwide and is currently shipping an average of 200 assembly machines per month. This extraordinary achievement makes Juki one of the world’s leading providers of automated assembly products and systems. In addition to its core technologies, Juki’s Electronic Assembly and Test Systems Division develops and manufactures advanced electronic systems and computer software for data entry, mail processing and other electronic equipment.

With the purchase of Zevatech’s assets in November 1999, Juki Automation Systems now brings Juki’s reputation for top quality and reliable service also to the North and South American and the European electronics assembly markets. Juki recognizes the challenges of the new century and is prepared to respond to the globalization of electronic manufacturing. With a sophisticated knowledge base, advanced technologies and a high commitment to its customers, Juki is poised for continued growth in the 21st century.
