Siemens Dematic and Henkel Loctite Provide No-Cost, Full-Day Lead-Free Seminar

August 30, 2002 - (Norcross, GA) - At yesterday's Lead-Free Seminar hosted at the Siemens Dematic Advanced Assembly Technology Center (AAT)in Norcross, GA over 50 participants learned about the latest trends and best practices in the continued migration to lead-free electronics manufacturing.

The event, co-sponsored by Loctite and Siemens Dematic, was free of charge, and participants enjoyed a full day of presentations, discussions, as well as a real-time demo and results of a lead-free process in the state-of-the-art AAT Center.

The full-day program included SolderChemistries of Lead-Free, Temperature Profiling, Hands-on Demo of Lead-Free Assembly Process, Processing of Lead-Free Solder and Results and Board Analysis from Demo.

Copies of the presentations together with results of the experiment were made available to all attendees. Feedback from the day was very positive.
