Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, today announced that it will debut four new products at the IPC APEX EXPO. New products to be displayed include the McDry DXU-580YF Yamaha Feeder Cabinet, Musashi Engineering’s SuperΣ and AeroJet, and Hitachi Giken’s NEO VIEW Visual Inspection Support System.

The DXU-580YF McDry Yamaha Feeder Cabinet has been designed for Yamaha feeder storage, models YS and ZITA. The cabinet holds up to 21 feeders with tape and reel. It safely dehumidifies and stores MSDs in reels at an ultra-low humidity level of one percent RH. The McDry Yamaha Feeder Cabinet conforms to IPC-J-STD 033C.

The SuperΣ Dispensing System features a digital controller for automatic/manual dispensing. The system provides continuous, precise and repeatable dispensing with no dripping. The SuperΣ automatically calculates the correct dispensing volume and pressure and detects the usage level of leftover dispensing liquid.

The AeroJet Non-Contact Jet Dispenser System offers a fast tact time (height adjustment is not required) and a maximum speed of up to 333 shots per second. The precise jetting mechanism is capable of super micro shot dispensing. Additionally, the AeroJet can dispense from side angles as well as uneven surfaces.

The NEO VIEW Visual Inspection Support System for AOI provides secondary, reliable inspection for AOI systems. It automatically tracks and captures defects as transferred by receiving data from AOI. The NEO View displays high-resolution, enlarged images with top view and angled view CCD cameras. Additionally, it may capture defects missed by AOI as each inspection site programmed is always confirmed.
