The event is scheduled to take place Monday, September 18, 2017 from 1:30-6 p.m. and is free to all attendees.
Event chairs Priyanka Dobriyal, Ph.D., Intel Corporation and Marie S. Cole, Distinguished Engineer, Supplier Technical Management, IBM Corporation invite everyone at SMTA International to attend the Women's Leadership Program to promote women in engineering fields. Get inspired by speakers from FLITE, IBM, Intel, Keysight Technologies, Nike, Women in Manufacturing (WiM) and more. This will be held on Monday afternoon from 1:30-3 p.m.
A panel discussion will follow at 4:15 p.m. where panelists will share their unique stories on what motivated them to choose a career in engineering, mentorship and their contributions in advancing careers of women. The discussion is moderated by Claire Saunders from What's New In Electronics (WNIE). Show your support for diversity in engineering fields by attending this session.
The afternoon concludes with the annual Connection Reception sponsored by KYZEN with wine and appetizers from 5-6 p.m. All women attending SMTA International are invited to attend the annual SMTA Women’s Leadership Connection Reception where women can come together to network and socialize.
