Feb 06, 2016 The report presents the accurate modeling of each of the 5mm QFNs 32 pins to 40GHz using a combination of Ansys HFSS 3D simulation and precision Modelithics measurement data. The model features 64 ports for the inner and outer connections of each pin and two model package options depending on the design configuration. The Modelithics model is validated with a comparison to actual measured data, including an example fixture with a transmission line mounted and connected with wire bonds in the Barry package.
