LPKF, a leading manufacturer of laser and electronic systems, announces the launch of a new blog and resource site about laser plastic welding. Located at www.laserplasticwelding.com, the Web site is an extension of LPKF Laser & Electronics, and introduces and educates both engineers and designers about the latest laser plastic welding information.
The intention of the site is to provide a central resource for laser plastic welding information, in the form of webinars, white papers, videos and case studies. The “Resources” page is populated with a range of content, with new content added on a consistent basis. Additionally, this site provides a “LPW 101” page. This is for visitors that are new to the industry and shows what the technology has to offer as well as why it is a driving force behind innovative devices in the manufacturing, medical and automotive industries.
“Our goal is that the site will encourage laser welding discussions and promote a two-way information flow in which content is the catalyst, but not the only means of gaining laser welding knowledge,” said Stephan Schmidt, President.
The site has a comprehensive, dynamic comments system. Located beneath each page or post, users are able to ask questions or comment on the content of a page. The system displays the comments in an orderly format, providing an excellent discussion platform.
Visitors may subscribe to receive email notifications for new posts. Additionally, upcoming Webinar information is available on the right side of the site. This comprehensive resource is available to visitors at no cost.
