Flex Interconnect Technologies (FIT), a leader in design, manufacture and assembly of flexible printed circuits, announces that it will exhibit custom flex technology solutions in Booth #426 at the upcoming MD&M West Conference and Expo, scheduled to take place February 14-16, 2012 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.
While FIT has exhibited at MD&M West numerous times over the years, 2012 will be unique because it will debut its standard flex cable lines. The high-speed cables are standard stock items, but also can be customized to fit specific customer needs. Additionally, FIT is producing impedance-controlled flex cables using Samtec’s high-speed connector series. The flex cables are produced with materials and processes to meet signal integrity and product reliability characteristics.
FIT will use Samtec’s most popular connectors - including the Q series, Q2, Edge Rate, Micro and Standard - that are available with a range of pitch, gender, position number, signal mapping, signal/ground assignments and ruggedization options. The Standard HFxM and ZHDL series flexes can be ordered without any NREs.
