Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, introduces its new Digital Position Setup Tool. The tool has been designed primarily for use on Ersa selective soldering machines such as the VERSAFLOW 3, VERSAFLOW 4050 and VERSAFLOW 5060 models.

“This is the only digital position verification tool on the market that also can measure flux spray position up to 0.1mm position accuracy at the PCB level. Deviations can be displayed on the machine or remotely on a line PC. The machine verification is digitally controlled and can be performed during normal production to increase machine productivity significantly.”
The Digital Position Setup Tool is designed for use with 3/6 nozzles, though other nozzle options are available. Setup and calibration is fast and simple with the automatic calibration mode. The Digital Setup Tool is compatible with selective solder equipment from other manufacturers depending on dimensions.
