Jan 23, 2017 Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, has completed its financial results for 2016 and announces its third record setting year in all regions of the world.
Ernie Grice, VP of Sales, Kurtz Ersa North America, states, “2016 was really an amazing year for Ersa, most notably in the North America region. One would expect to see double digit growth in Asia considering it is the high volume epicenter of the world, but to see this growth in the US is very encouraging. Everyone knows that Mexico is a huge market for electronics and we are very happy with our growth in Mexico. But it is the growth in the US that rings a bell for us. I believe that customers realize that they cannot compete on a global scale with cheap, inefficient gear and our numbers and sales growth shows this to be true.”
Ersa’s Machine Division grew more than 40 percent in North America in 2016. Grice added, “Selective Soldering is for sure our leading product line and a huge part of our growth; however, we also saw significant growth in reflow ovens and full tunnel wave solder machines as well.”
