Kurtz Ersa Inc., a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, today announced that Krypton Solutions LLC has invested in several new systems from Ersa for its new facility. A long-time Ersa customer with equipment at its Plano, TX facility, Krypton selected Ersa to help furnish its new facility in San Jose, CA.
Krypton Solutions provides full service design, rapid prototyping and low/medium volume turn-key contract manufacturing services. The company purchased and installed two Hotflow 3/20 Reflow Ovens, two VERSAPRINT 2 Ultra Stencil Printers, a VERSAFLOW 3 selective soldering system, and an HR 550 rework system.
With the Ersa Hotflow 3/20, ten heated zones top-and-bottom and four active cooling zones, Ersa presents a process efficient solution. The oven is characterized by its high throughput inline operation, low operating cost and very attractive price.

The HR 550 is designed for the highest requirements in terms of precision and process safety in electronic assembly rework applications. It features a 1,500W high performance hybrid heating element to desolder and solder SMT components up to 70 x 70 mm.
