HV200 High Voltage Ignition Coil

HV200 High Voltage Ignition Coil

This range of custom designed ignition coils is lightweight and suitable for gas ignition of boilers, furnaces, barbecues, and ovens that require a high gain in voltage that can be provided in a safe and reliable manner. The HV200 Series has an encapsulation made of a unique polymer compound that was developed specifically by ECM. This encapsulation provides a high quality vacuum seal, and therefore eliminates any air pockets around the coil. This innovative design significantly increases the products reliability by approximately 200% over other coils currently in the market. We are really proud to introduce this product to the North American market, the improved reliability of our product has meant that our European clients have been able to benefit hugely from the greater reliability that the HV200 series offers, explains ECM Product Manager Dan Weaver. Since being introduced into the European Market four years ago, no user has reported an ignition coil failure out of the approximately 1.5 Million currently in use. One manufacturer of catering ovens saw their cost of field maintenance fall by two-thirds in 2003 after the HV200 coil was adopted.
