Ravi Parthasarathy, M.S.Chem.Eng., Senior Process Engineer, ZESTRON, will be presenting a two part session, “Why Clean PCBs” and “Process Control and Cleanliness Assessment.” Within the first session, industry trends that are driving the need for precision cleaning processes will be discussed, reliability issues reviewed and solutions provided. Test results of DI-water vs. chemistry will also be examined.
Within the second session, the criticality of wash bath monitoring will be reviewed and best practices with the latest tools for concentration monitoring will be presented. Surface analytical methods to assess board cleanliness will also be reviewed. During the hands-on interactive learning session, Mr. Parthasarathy will review batch cleaning trial results and demonstrate surface qualitative analysis.
