Shaddock joins Tyco Electronics from Motorola, where he was senior vice president of the company's Consumer Products business. Before that, he was CTO for Motorola's Mobile Devices business. Earlier in his career, Shaddock served as CEO of Blue Wave Systems, a UK-based company that developed leading-edge technology for the telecommunications and military industries.
Shaddock earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in engineering science from the University of Oxford.
