Nordson DAGE, a division of Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN), announces that it was awarded a 2013 SMT China Vision Award in the category of AOI Inspection & Testing - AXI for its Jade FP X-ray Inspection System. The award was presented to the company during an April 23, 2013 ceremony in Shanghai during NEPCON China.
The XD7500VR Jade FP X-ray inspection system uses the latest technology flat panel detector to provide the market-leading, cost-effective approach where high-quality real-time imaging is needed for production tasks. The long life CMOS digital detector with 1280 x 1024 pixels (1.3 Mpixels) features 10 fps full-frame real-time image acquisition and real-time image enhancements.
The new and improved system, with its enhanced flat panel detector, captures images much faster and the result is crisper, allowing the production operator to make decisions on acceptable quality faster. This increase in actual inspection speed gives a resulting increase in throughput.
SMT China magazine launched the SMT China Vision Awards in 2007 to recognize both international and domestic providers of SMT equipment, materials, software and services that have made outstanding contributions to the rapid growth of China's electronics manufacturing industry by their inventions and innovations.
