Mr. Christman is a retired Lieutenant General with a distinguished 36-year service record in the United States Army. During his military career, Mr. Christman served as assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as in other leadership positions. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where he later served as Superintendent. Mr. Christman also holds an MPA degree in public affairs and an MSE degree in civil engineering from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School.
Mr. Christman currently is Senior Counselor to the President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, responsible for advising the Chamber’s senior leadership on international issues affecting the business community. He previously served as senior vice president of International Affairs at the Chamber.
