Europlacer, a designer and manufacturer of comprehensive pick-and-place systems for the global electronics industry, recently added a new member to its customer support team – Senior Field Service Engineer Viet Nguyen.
“Viet is a great addition to our team in North America supporting our growing base of SMT pick-and-place equipment customers,” said John Perrotta, V.P. of Europlacer North America. “His broad knowledge of SMT process combined with equipment technology will help our customers maintain their strong competitive edge in the North American SMT assembly market.”
In his new role, Nguyen will be responsible for supporting customers’ SMT pick-and-place process requirements, machine maintenance and service along with technical support.
Prior to joining Europlacer North America, Viet worked with Asteel Flash Group in Fremont, CA as an SMT Process Engineer. Prior to that, he was employed with Flextronics, Inc., Milpitas, CA, Flextronics, Inc., San Jose, CA, and Panasonic Factory Solutions as a Senior Field Service Engineer.
