Dec 19, 2018 Siborg is having a sale to celebrate the end of 2018 in their online store and Amazon sales channels. The sale includes the popular LCR-Reader, LCR-Reader-MP and Smart Tweezers tweezer-LCR-meters, as well as other items from Siborg's online store.
Siborg has been offering tweezer-based LCR-meters since the early 2000's with the Smart Tweezers line of multimeters. The device combined a set of gold-plated tweezer probes and a lightweight multimeter capable of high accuracy measurements.
In 2014, Siborg launched the LCR-Reader model; this model is a simplified version of Smart Tweezers with less features, a more compact design and a 0.5% basic accuracy. Like Smart Tweezers, LCR-Reader is able to automatically determine the type of component and best test parameters to use before measuring. All measurement values, including LCR and ESR values, are instantly displayed on the OLED display.
In 2017, Siborg released the LCR-Reader-MP. This model offers the same functionality as the other devices but also offers more features and a higher basic accuracy of 0.1%. Features on the LCR-Reader-MP include: LCR/ESR measurements, LED testing, voltage/current measurements, diode/continuity tests, frequency meter, signal generator, pulse counting, AC/DC voltage meter, oscilloscope mode and a super cap test mode up to 680 mF. The MP is able to test components using a 100 kHz test frequency which allows for a 0.01 pF resolution for capacitance and sub-nH resolution for inductance.
When used with the Kelvin Probe Connector, LCR-Reader-MP becomes a powerful PCB debugging tool. The Kelvin Probe Connector set allows the device to be used as a probe station and measure board impedance and voltage wave forms at various nodes up to 100 kHz.

-LCR-Reader Kelvin Probe Connector: this shielded two-wire connection set turns any LCR-Reader, MP or Smart Tweezers device ito a full probe station. It includes 5 attachments and extends the reach of the tweezers, allowing for larger-sized components to be measured.
-Smart LED Test Tweezers test LEDs using a 20 VDC output and variable current ratings. The LED Test Tweezers can also be used as tweezer probes when connected to a multimeter using the included cable.
-Task Kits are available for Smart Tweezers and LCR-Reader and include various accessories and parts, including tips, batteries, etc.
-A variety of Smart Tweezers and LR-Reader spare parts and accessories, including spare parts for older models of Smart Tweezers.
