Blackfox forms a strategic alliance to introduce Asahi �Drop-in� Lead Free Solder Materials

Blackfox Training Institute has formed a strategic alliance with Asahi Technologies America, Inc. to introduce the �drop-in� lead-free solder materials to the global industry.

Based on the solid technology developed through a long-standing and sustaining research, Asahi Solder Pb-free product line is designed to provide �Drop-in� materials for SMT manufacturing without the hassle of increasing the process temperature.

The product line is available for a full range of applications, including reflow solder paste, wave solder bar, cored wires in as fine as 0.3 mm (12 mils) diameter, balls, etc. Over the last few years, the Asahi Solder product line has been used by OEMs and EMSs in producing more than 80 million PCB assemblies that are in service in various industry sectors.

In comparison to SnPb and SAC, AsahiSolder Viromet Pb-free solder materials perform favorably.
