When we kicked off the design of the SX Series, our goal was to produce a platform that would eliminate the hardware driven constraints that exist in all other platforms on the market today. In parallel, we would combine the hardware with a new generation of industry leading user interfaces and programming tools. We wanted a platform that would meet the needs of the high volume manufacturer as well as those of the high mix manufacturer. Most of all, we wanted to provide a no compromise solution that would simplify the ever more complex challenges facing today’s electronics manufacture.
