Creation – St. Peter welcomed guests from its Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) customers, supply chain partners, the St. Peter City Council, builder RW Carlstrom, and other community members for an official ribbon-cutting, celebration luncheon and strategic forum to promote synergy throughout the EMS supply chain.
With current market constraints as the industry continues to rebound dramatically from its 2009 downturn, close collaboration and integration are critical to maintaining a competitive edge in the electronics sector. Creation’s 2010 Strategy forum united the company, its customers and its supply chain partners to develop creative ways to stay ahead of the curve.
In addition to sharing ideas for expanded design services and lean solutions for product supply, Creation’s St. Peter Forum guests participated in an interactive panel discussion that featured market insight from senior representatives at distribution partners including Avnet, Future, Digi-Key, TTI and Arrow Electronics.
Over 40 of Creation's current OEM customers, potential customers, and distribution partners attended the successful event. Creation’s commitment to enabling its partners to ‘work together’ through ongoing forums is evidenced by the St. Peter session’s feedback:
‘…the inspiration to many of my thoughts through the weekend.’ (OEM Customer)
‘…industry experts sharing their experiences is always good.’ (OEM Potential Customer)
‘The format was encouraging and fun.’ (OEM Customer)
‘I was most impressed with both the content and delivery.’ (Distribution Partner)
