Altus Develop a Custom Conveyor Curing Solution with YJ LInk

As YJ Link’s installed base continues to grow, Altus Group, a leading distributor of capital equipment for the electronics assembly industry, has repeatedly come across customers who were unhappy with curing systems on the market today. Considering this, Altus has worked with YJ Link and the curing lamp suppliers (UV & LED) to develop ‘custom’ solutions to overcome the shortcomings of the existing systems.

The partnership has resulted in ‘beta site’ optimised test systems to enhance the product to meet customer’s exacting needs. The products are now mature and have been tested through many hours of production with multiple units already in use. The system has been formally launched and added to the YJ Link portfolio as a ‘standard’ product.

Andrew Wolfe, sales support manager at Altus said: “We work very closely not only with our customers, but also our suppliers to build up a portfolio that fits all requirements. It is though our strong relationship with YJ Link that we have custom made the conveyor curing solution to offer a system that provides a solution to many of the problems encountered during the curing process.

“The new solution has been designed and engineered to give the best price and performance on the market today. We are now offering the system to a wider audience and are confident that customers will benefit from this custom built equipment.”

The ASC-80 model comes complete with:

  • Touch Screen Operating Panel

  • Panasonic PLC Controller

  • SMEMA Interface

  • Conveyor Speed Control

  • Width Adjustment

  • Pin Chain Drive

  • A bank of Cooling Fans

  • Full Safety Cover

  • “Dymax” UV Curing lamps

The system is CE Certified, and is available in a range of sizes and conveyor lengths which enable it to be configured to meet your exacting requirements.
