Balver Zinn today announced that it was the sponsor of the recent IPC Hand Soldering Competition that took place during NEPCON Korea. In addition to its sponsorship, Balver Zinn Singapore contributed its B2012 wire and Cobrush flux applicator filled with 94-QMB flux.
The first IPC hand soldering competition at NEPCON Korea April 3-5 was a great success. A total of 139 contestants, including two elementary school students, competed in the preliminary rounds and 20 of them advanced to the final round. The assemblies were judged in accordance with IPC-A-610E Class 3 criteria, production speed and overall electrical functionality.
Balver Zinn Singapore also plans to sponsor the IPC Hand Soldering Competitions at the upcoming events: NEPCON Malaysia, NEPCON Thailand and NEPCON Vietnam.
