Apr 09, 2014 Rolling Meadows, IL (April 9, 2014) – Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America won the 2014 New Product Introduction (NPI) Award for Software – Production for its PanaCIM Express solution. This marks the second NPI Award for the PanaCIM software line.
The award was accepted by the company’s president, M. Faisal Pandit, at a ceremony during the IPC APEX expo in Las Vegas. Pandit commented, “We appreciate the recognition of PanaCIM Express by the industry. It was developed by listening to our customers’ needs and designing a solution to increase factory visibility for companies without a dedicated IT staff.”
PanaCIM Express is a self-contained, quickly integrated software package for common Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tools such as Production Analysis and Material Verification from the PanaCIM Enterprise Edition software portfolio. Bundling the software tools and all necessary hardware into a turnkey solution provides a cost-effective, deployment method while still being adaptable for changes in factory needs.
