Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America will premiere new hardware, application, and software solutions that amplify the depth and breadth of their total solutions for “Any Mix Any Volume” in booth 3539 at IPC APEX 2015.
The new NPM-W2 amplifies the flagship NPM-W capabilities with a 10% throughput boost and 25% more accuracy, plus new innovations like our incomparable Multi Recognition Camera. Combined, these features extend the component range down to the 03015mm microchip, yet preserve capability up to 120x90mm components and nearly 6” long (150mm) connectors. Quick-change feeder carts, auto board support setup, and expanded nozzle capacity, along with our Intelligent Feeder Anywhere position the NPM-W2 as an ideal solution for “Any Mix Any Volume”.
NPM-D3 continues in the steps of its award-winning predecessor with interchangeable dispensing, placement, and inspection heads; however, new enhancements further increase productivity to speeds of 84,000 placements per hour. Additionally, the NPM-D3 now handles a component range spanning 03015mm microchips to massive 100x90mm components up to 28mm tall.
Both the NPM-W2 and NPM-D3 are available with the new, evolutionary Multi Recognition Camera that uniquely combines three separate imaging capabilities into a single system: 2D alignment, component thickness inspection, and 3D coplanarity measurement. The field upgradeable system eliminates any configuration challenges historically associated with competitive vision systems, which often resulted in excessive investments, improper configurations, inadequate capabilities, and even reduced quality. Versatile for today’s technology, and powerful for future inspection challenges, the Multi Recognition Camera helps manufacturers build higher quality products.
PanaCIM® Maintenance Augmented Reality (AR) version 2.0 evolves even further into an interactive, immersive, and effective software solution that provides constant communication between machine technicians as they need it regardless of equipment used.
