In addition, sales for MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuits) packaging solutions has shown a marked increase during 2007 and the company are keen to exploit this as Robert Lowther, sales and marketing director at Labtech Microwave explains: �Our product range has evolved significantly and in response to customer demand we introduced a number of new microwave components this year with further releases planned for 2008.�
Commenting on the appointment process he added: �There are no strict criteria for becoming a Labtech agent. However, potential applicants require an understanding and the technical knowledge as well as a proven track record and experience of selling into the microwave industry within their respective territories. They also need to be of a size and scale that can support us but not necessarily the biggest in their field. We�ve found that the smaller, hungrier companies often generate better results.�
