Over the last few months, Inovar has evaluated, selected and purchased leading edge equipment to supplement its failure analysis and inspection capabilities. This equipment includes a Nicolet Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy Machine, LECO Cross-section Saw and Polisher, Olympus Trinocular Optical Measurement Microscope, Olympus Trinocular Micro-section Analysis Microscope, Fischer Technologies X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy Analysis Machine, a Mitutoyo Mechanical Coordinate Measuring Machine and various other dimensional analysis tools.
�We felt compelled to continue our trend of setting ourselves apart from our competition and an inspection/failure analysis capability was identified as an opportunity to do this. This complement of tools allows Inovar to ensure continued compliance to its rigid ITAR requirements by reducing the need to send proprietary samples and information to third-party laboratories for analysis,� said Inovar's Compliance Manager Don McFarland.
