SEHO North America, Inc., a worldwide leading supplier of automated soldering systems and customer-specific solutions announced that it will hold its 2014 Technology Days in conjunction with Stannol GmbH, Germany. The event is scheduled to take place Oct. 21-22, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport as well as hands-on training at the SEHO North America facility in Erlanger, KY.
SEHO technology days are based on a simple principle: to provide a perfect balance of theory and practical application. During the two-day event, leading flux, solder and equipment suppliers will provide their expert insight on all relevant process subjects.
The first day will concentrate on wave and reflow soldering processes with a particular focus on fluxes and nitrogen atmosphere. Industry experts will discuss state-of-the-art processes and what future technologies will require. The second day will focus on selective soldering processes and provide detailed background knowledge about the influence of board design on quality and costs, discuss the characteristics of silver containing alloys vs. silver free, and explore the possibilities to control all process steps in order to implement a zero-defect process.
The technology days are part of the successful SEHO Academy with more than 1,000 satisfied attendees worldwide. SEHO's training courses can help qualified employees optimize processes to improve production throughput, reduce cycle times, improve the level of quality, and cut down overall cost.
Since its foundation in 1976, SEHO has become the worldwide contact partner whenever soldering is involved. Company solutions are based on performance, flexibility, efficiency and technical progress.
