Austin American Technology Expands into Brazil

Sep 06, 2021

Austin American Technology (AAT) is pleased to announce that it has further expanded its brand into South America by adding Envoy Imp. Com. e Rep. Ltda. as its new representative / distributor in Brazil. Envoy has been representing SMT solution companies in Brazil for more than 28 years. The company is headquartered in Sao Paulo and has a north branch office in Manaus.

Justin Cody Worden, Director of Business Development, commented: “With our international footprint continuing to grow at an all-time rate, we knew it was necessary for Austin American Technology to partner with the right representation in Brazil. With the addition of Edwin Costa and his team at Envoy Imp., AAT now has a top tier group of engineers and service representation covering all of Brazil.”

Envoy was looking for a strong American company capable of providing a complete machine cleaning solution for the electronics industry in Brazil. They were referred to AAT and quickly realized their synergy.

Edwin Costa is in charge of Envoy as Master Business Administrator with extensive experience in developing companies in the Brazilian market. Costa commented: “Our team is very excited to start promoting and selling AAT’s products. Envoy has an important differential because we provide the complete solution: an extraordinary AAT machine and the KYZEN chemistry. The result will be a happy customer and this is our primary goal.”

Austin American Technology is on the forefront of engineering and manufacturing high performance cleaning system for over 35 years, delivering solutions worldwide. AAT was founded in 1986, as a provider of SMT rework systems and process engineering testing services. In 1988, their focus shifted toward the high-end electronics cleaning segment with the introduction of the world’s first automated stencil cleaner. In 2000, Austin American Technology became a market leader in inline cleaning systems with the introduction of the award-winning HydroJet® series. Patented cleaning and drying technologies were incorporated into an energy and space-efficient format to set new standards for performance and low cost of ownership. Building on this success, AAT introduced the MicroJet® inline flip chip cleaner to provide high volume cleaning capability in a small footprint.  In 2013 AAT introduced the world’s smallest most efficient inline cleaner, the NanoJet®.
